at 10 minutes and 00 seconds |
Nakano Tam |
*Both players are disqualified due to a draw as time ran out
The match between Tam Nakano and Kagetsu is arguably one of the most anticipated "grudge matches" of the first round. It was Nakano who prevented Kagetsu from reaching the finals in an official match at last year's 5☆STAR GP. However, that victory was a fluke due to interference from Hana Kimura, and neither Nakano nor Kagetsu were satisfied with the result. The two originally belonged to the same unit, and even after Nakano joined STARS, Kagetsu questioned whether she would have been better off in Oedo Tai. In the recent draft, both remained with their respective units. As such, this match also features a battle between STARS and Oedo Tai. Will Kagetsu, the red belt holder, advance through the first round as expected, or will Nakano inflict a true bitter defeat on the reigning champion? This is an important match in terms of predicting the outcome of the tournament

Hoshiki was presented with a Cinderella dress by presenter Toni Storm. Hoshiki left the ring to change. Afterwards, Hoshiki reappeared wearing a blue Cinderella dress. Then, Toni Storm presented him with the trophy and tiara once again
Hoshiki: "Hello everyone! I won the Cinderella Tournament! It's been five months since my return, I think. At first I was wondering if I could do it in the five months, but as I practiced day by day, I gradually gained confidence, and at first I was only participating irregularly, just in sporadic appearances, but I made up my mind to dedicate myself to the Cinderella Tournament, and from May I decided to participate full-time. Tam-chan and others who practice with me have also been practicing with me. My image is orange or yellow, right? The reason I chose blue is because blue has meaning, like a strong will to achieve a goal, and things like that. Blue is like the sea, the sky, my potential, and an expression of that will, so I chose this dress earlier. Speaking of blue, do you know who the person in the blue costume is? Mayu-chan is in light blue. The one in the blue costume, holding the belt right now. Momo! ... I can't remember."
Momo enters the ring
Momo: "Okay, first of all, congratulations, Cinderella. What are your thoughts? I've already seen the view of Cinderella before you have, so I don't need to say anything. The blue costume is hard to understand. You should have said white belt. Is this a challenge?"
Hoshiki: "Yes, please."
Momo: "Do you remember, you, about my comeback match? Before my comeback match, on the day you appeared, you called me a fake kickboxer, didn't you?"
Hoshiki: "I said it."
Momo: "I'm still holding a grudge. I've always wanted to do a singles match, so I'm looking forward to it."
Momo leaves the stage
Hoshiki: "I won today, so can I wrap things up now? Well then, STARS members, shall we wrap things up together?"
STARS enters the ring
Hoshiki: "(Zero people correctly predicted the winner) Oh well, I don't care about that (laughs). Believe in the present, shine tomorrow, We are STARDOM!"

Comment from Hoshiki
"I'm so happy to have won. I got zero votes in the poll to see who would win (laughs). But ever since my comeback, I've been told that nobody's interested in me, and I knew that myself, so I decided to put everything into this Cinderella Tournament, and I've been training hard recently. But all the opponents I faced were really strong, and there were times when I didn't think I could win. Or rather, there were times when I didn't think they would counter me, and times when I thought I could counter them. Sorry for being so incoherent. But I'm really grateful to all the opponents who fought against me this time. Thank you very much. This isn't the finish line, so it's a cliché, but I'll use this as a starting point and challenge for the white belt that Momoko Watanabe holds."
—Was it because of peaches that you kept being told that they weren't interested?
"Yes, like Momo-chan and Utami-chan. I know a lot of people think that way, and I can feel it, so it can't be helped. Yes, a few months ago, I challenged for the Goddess title with Mayu-chan, and we might have made an impression, but we didn't get the results we wanted, and I was really frustrated. I feel that I need to not only get stronger while Mayu-chan is out of action, but also get results. I would be happy if I could take the belt from Momo-chan and then really do something from there."
—I think red was also an option
"Yes, I have a set of stages in mind. I want to try white first, wear the white belt, and then try red. So, it's white."
